Works everywhere you type
Half a sentence in, it's gibberish.
Keyvert remembers which keys you pressed, so it can retype them on the right keyboard, punctuation and all.
Small app. Knows a lot about keyboards.
One shortcut. And undo.
Tap Shift twice to fix what you just typed, or what you've selected. Tap again and it's back exactly as it was.
Any two languages
Any pair of the 259 keyboards in macOS. Not set up yet? Keyvert adds it for you.
Punctuation that lands right
Commas stay commas, even where that key is a letter. Arabic gets ، and ؟.
Right-to-left, handled
Question marks stay at the end of Hebrew and Arabic sentences, and the paragraph flips direction.
Spelling & grammar
Press ⌃⌥G to check what you wrote, in Chrome, WhatsApp, Slack and everywhere else.
Private by design
Everything runs on your Mac. Keystrokes stay in memory for a moment and are never saved or sent anywhere.
Always know where you are
The menu bar shows which language you're typing in, and a gentle hint appears when a word looks like it belongs to the other one.
Running in a minute.

What happens after the free month?
Keyvert keeps showing which language you're typing in, but conversion and spelling checks pause until you subscribe. Choose Buy Keyvert in its menu, pick Full or Lite, and pay with PayPal or a card. It unlocks within seconds. Subscribe during the free month and the first payment waits until the month ends.
What's the difference between Full and Lite?
Lite ($4.99 a year) converts between one pair of languages, with smart punctuation and right-to-left direction. Full ($9.99 a year) adds up to four languages, spelling and grammar checking, and wrong-language warnings and automatic fixing. Your free month includes everything in Full.
Does it work in every app?
Yes: browsers, WhatsApp, Slack, Word, Mail, Notes and anywhere else you type. Changing the paragraph direction needs apps with a Writing Direction command (most native Mac apps); elsewhere, right-to-left text still reads correctly.
Why does it need Accessibility permission?
To notice which keys you press and retype them when you tap Shift twice. Keyvert never keeps what you type: it holds the last few hundred key presses in memory only, erases them whenever you click or switch apps, and never saves them or sends them anywhere. Nothing you type leaves your Mac; the app only checks your subscription with keyvert.io. Password fields are protected by macOS and never reach it. Privacy details.
Which languages does it support?
Any of the 259 keyboard layouts built into macOS: two at a time with Lite, up to four with Full. Input methods that compose characters from several keys, like Chinese Pinyin and Japanese Kana, can't be converted key by key.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?
Each subscription covers one Mac, which keeps the price low. For a second Mac, subscribe from that Mac's Keyvert menu.
Does it renew automatically? How do I cancel?
Yes, your plan renews once a year so Keyvert never stops unexpectedly. To stop it, choose Cancel Subscription… in the Keyvert menu, or go to keyvert.io/cancel. You won't be charged again, and Keyvert keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for.
Stop retyping.
